Teachers More Likely To Shoot-Up Schools Than Students

With a growing number of school shootings in the U.S., new statistics suggest teachers may be more likely to be the culprit than students.

Students outnumber teachers in most schools anywhere from 30-50 to 1, so it would make sense that a new study shows how they are becoming more likely to be the ones doing the shootings. Teachers deal with complete and utter disrespect every single day of their lives, coming from both their students and administration. Faculty and staff are pushed around and tormented on a daily basis, and the kids think that they are the ones who have it tough. Being bullied is not a valid reason for anyone to take someone’s life, but it is happening anyway.

The difference between students and teachers is that they are being paid to be there, although it is far less than enough for what they have to deal with. Teachers are of course adults and therefore can take more abuse than the children they educate, yet still something has to be done. Children are our future, but we were all the future once and look how we turned out to be. Teachers are the enemy of kids and kids the enemy of teachers, there are no if, ands, or buts about it.
